Josiah Blackmore, Nancy Clark Smith Professor of the Language and Literature of Portugal, specializes in medieval and early modern Portuguese literature, including Camões and shipwreck narrative.
Sergio studies the history of relations between Europe and America during the early modern period and contemporary notions of empire and colonialism.
Specializing in medieval Spanish and Portuguese, Adam will publish his first book of translations, Camilo Pessanha's Clepsydra, with U. of Massachusetts Press.
